First Gig

Adam Ant at the Odeon, Birmingham, 1985 or thereabouts. The shark had been leapt over by this point but I still remember it as a good show.
The best gigs ever were Mercury Rev on the "All Is Dream" tour, Bongwater at Newcastle Riverside in the very early 90s and Morrissey in a smallish club in Warsaw in 2009.

I worked as a cucumber checker in Humberside - lasted about 2 days.
Ted Chippington once asked me to score him some dope.

A homeless guy on the pier at Venice beach approached me in 1993 and uttered 4 enigmatic words that I'll never forget: "Famous Uncle, wasting time".
