I teach philosophy at the University of Southampton &, like many Word readers, try to stay more or less in touch with the music scene as a way of holding at bay the ossification that comes with aging.

Can't quite remember. It would have been in the 70s & almost certainly at Birmingham Town Hall. My guess would be either Traffic or Al Stewart.

I have three birth certificates - British, German and American - because I was born in the American-occupied part of Germany to British parents.
