About Me

Having a great mid-life crisis and generally not being as sensible as I was 10 years ago. I live in the leafier end of Essex and married to a Lancastrian.

I've recently attained my Open University degree in English Language & Literature. Proud owner of a Gideon Coe 6 Music Duffer Badge (Mrs Phil also has one - not so proud).

Music: Proggy foundations, bit of jazz, happy when Indian or African turns up on the iPod and have been seen at classical concerts. Currently discovering folk.

First Gig

First proper gig was Yes at Wembley Arena. 28th Oct 1978. Still have recording from the the first R1 Friday Rock Show broadcast about a week or so later. Fabulous memento and an infinitely better mix than the Yesshows live double from around the same time.
