David Coverdale at the Lyceum Ballroom...oh bugger that's far from cool...the next though was The Ruts, supported by The Members, at the Marquee (early 1978?), the encore of which I think is immortalized as the closing track on the Ruts only proper LP.

My eldest son, at aged 8, went to sleep in the front row during an Elvis Costello and Bill Frisell performance which was duly released as a live LP called Deep Dead Blue. If you turn the volume up between songs you can actually hear him snoring.
