Before we were married, my wife and I lived in the apartment block opposite Abbey Road studios. Every morning as we went to work, there would be a group of Japanese tourists 'doing' the zebra crossing.
I travel a lot in my work as a magazine publisher and wherever I am, I try to see some live music. Here's some recent highlights:

Slade at Earl's Court 1973. Support was the Sensational Alex Harvey Band. The following week a friend asked if I wanted to go and see Bowie and the Spiders at Hammersmith Odeon. No, maybe next time, I said. Doh!!
