About Me

I fit the Word demographic diturbingly well. Live in a village in Northants and travel to London to earn a crust on a regular basis, which means that at least three hours of each day are spent listening to music.

I have two 18 year olds who have inherited a love of good music (as I see it!) and happily introduce me to musical things happening in their (increasingly strange) world.

As a 12 year old I happened to be at school one Sunday and caught one of the school rock bands practicing. I thought they were staggeringly good - couldn't wait to get to a concert as a result, but can't remember the first one!
P.S. the school band really were as good as they seemed. Lead guitar was played by Pete Farndon, later of the Pretenders

Strange Fact

My most tenuous link with the rock world. My brother in law was the Smiths first road manager, but left just before they broke because they were getting 'too famous' and he just wanted to stand beside the stage, smoke a spliff and enjoy the music.
