About Me

My day job is as a chartered surveyor. I live with my wife, Heather, in a small Derbyshire village which is a stones' throw from Sheffield.

My only connection with the music world (other than being a fan of many genres and bands) is working at Glastonbury Festival (Sensation Seeker's Stage) which is usually the highlight of the year.

Musical taste includes: Neil Young, Roy Harper, John Martyn, Richard Hawley, The Egg, Eels, Gomez, Elbow, Boxer Rebellion, Brian Eno, EST, Miles Davis, Keith Jarrett, Ali Farka Toure, Tinariwen, and many others.

Strange Fact

Author of a book of walks published in 1998 - 'Off Peak Walks' - total royalties c £600 in 12 years!
