About Me

Hello. I'm Michael Taylor, I work in Manchester, I live in a place called Marple (where Manchester meets the Peaks) with my wife Rachel and our 5 sons. I support Blackburn Rovers FC, but am growing out of love with football. I love all kinds of music and films. My favourite magazines are The Word, Monocle, Private Eye and the Spectator. I take the Guardian on the days I take a paper, as they say.

First Gig

Hipper young friends of parents took me to see The Average White Band and Inner Circle at Lancaster University 1979.

First gig I really wanted to go to - The Jam, same venue, later that year.
