20 year old student, am a massive prog rock fan (does that count as a weird fact?) and have written many reviews for a genre website (that must do!). Also into pretty much any 60s/70s music of most stripes though, really- Genesis, Beatles, Yes, Floyd, Zeppelin, Van Morrison, David Bowie, Elvis Presley are particular favourites.

Think it may well have been Desmond Dekker playing some free festival around 1998/9, was entertaining, but first one I wanted to see was Nik Turner (of Hawkwind) playing with his jazz-based band at another free festival. Briefly met him there too...
