40+ Lecturing in mid-ranking university in the north of England. Divorced but consoled by a truly fabulous daughter. Think lMing the Merciless if he lived a bit too near a pie shop (even though I don't even eat that many pies).

Aside from tiny pub gigs, Jean Michel Jarre's first night at Docklands in 1998. Luckily it managed to persist with rain just after we got out of the the dock, even though the wind was mental.
