First Gig

Bay City Rollers at the Edinburgh Odeon, 1974 with Lynn and Gillian. We were too young to camp out for tickets, but we were allowed to catch the first bus that morning and queued round the block all day! The gig itself was incredible, what with all the screaming and fainting, and my auntie was a kiltmaker, so the three of us probably had more tartan scarves than all the other teenyboppers put together. The most exciting moment was when the girl next to me fell down the back of the tippy-uppy cinema seat and broke her leg!
This year Lynn gave me the Rollers Greatest Hits for Christmas...
