Personal Info
- About Me
In the early 70's I predicted music would be bigger than football. How right I was, bands playing in football stadia, the birth of Arenas, etc. I have always been a fan of live music and throughout the years have seen or worked on some stonking live shows, from the Anarchy tour to Madonna at Wembley. I'm a ligger and don't care a hoot.
Most fun at a gig? Probably doing the YMCA dance at a live performance by The Village People on the Gary Glitter tour. Then meeting Greg Lake and discovering what a great bloke he is. I will forever trumpet bands like Stackridge, Spirogyra and Dave Stewart & Barbara Gaskin until I send you to sleep.
Met Diva International just after he/she won the Eurovision Song Contest. What a STRANGE weekend that was!

- First Gig
I like to say my first concert was T.Rex at the Manchester Free Trade Hall. However the first gig as such was Picketywitch at the Bolton Navada(sic). Early 70's.

- Strange Fact
I have my name on the credits of the LP by Sandy McLelland and the Backline (1978ish) alongside Mark Knopfler and Sony/BMG boss Ged Doherty. All because of the Phonogram University Marketing Association initiative of David Bates.
I used to be mistaken for James Warren of Stackridge and Korgis fame.
I have visited every Disney Theme Park in the world - all 11 of them. 11? Remember WDW counts as 4, Paris 2, etc.
