Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John

Mark JF's picture

A child is born to a stable couple who will, I suspect, provide it with a loving upbringing. Best wishes and good luck to all concerned.

Reg has struggled with his various demons over the years

but he finally seems to have found happiness and peace - good luck to all three of them.

Is Sir Elton actually formally called "John"..?

Or is he still Mr Dwight for real word tax purposes?

I believe he is legally

Sir Elton Hercules John.

Hmm

All I'll say is that I'm glad I wasn't taken from my mother at birth to be raised by two middle-aged men.

62:

the new middle ages?

Surely the question we should be asking is

if they were a normal couple (and by that I mean doing ordinary jobs), would they still be able to adopt? After all, one of the couple has a history of drug and alcohol abuse and, aren't they rather old to be adopting? I think if they were a civil servant amd checkout girl they would find things very different. Notwithstanding all the facts, good luck to them, especially the new Dwight.

They're not adopting

They've used a surrogate.

I seem to remember reading they tried to adopt

a couple of years ago but were turned down.

Obviously young Zachary is not going to have a conventional upbringing - having one of Britain's richest men as a father is going to ensure that but then (say) the McCartney kids seem have have done alright.

Having a stable, loving background counts for everything when kids are growing up.

totally unrelated but..

How do I create a new thread on this board? I honestly can't work out how to do it.

Could be interesting.

Learning without prior experience how to deal with a small, chubby, petulant, hairless, screaming, histrionic person who thinks the World consists of them and them alone and expects their demands to be met, instantly, day and night.

Still, I expect the nanny will learn soon enough how best to handle Elton.

Levon

After Levon Helm?

Levon Helm

Elton John has a song called Levon, named after the Rag Mama Rag hitmaker in question, so I imagine the kid's named after him too.

Thanks

Didn't know that.

I wish Levon Helm would visit the UK. He seems to tour a lot these days but only in the States.
