You're lucky you don't get this in the UK

Breaks my heart every time I see it.
I assume Brian's publisher is responsible for letting this go, or did they just catch him on a bad day.

Bloody hell
Is there no way we can sue someone for that?
I *hate* people smiling at me in adverts...
Whatever it is you're selling, I'm not buying. Go and take your nauseating good cheer someplace else.
There is nothing more insufferable
than adverts that change lyrics to songs for nefarious commercial purposes.
Another example currently infuriating the sane here in Australia:
I refuse to visit the state of Queensland until this obscenity is removed from our TV screens.
The worst example of new lyrics to a good song
used in advertising, must be the dreadful chicken advert we were treated to here in Sweden a few years back.
It took the La's classic "There she goes" and replaced the lyrics with some bullshit lyric meant to brainwash you into eating chicken on fridays...can't remember much of it, mainly because I always switched channels when it came on, shuddering in disbelief, muttering "sacrilege!"
even Nick Lowe
got the treatment in Spain. It was 'Cruel to be kind' tune with lyrics,in English,to describe the product. Then it went into 'cruel to be kind' but with lyrics they thought they heard
"Cruel to be kind ,if you like pleasure,
cruel to be kind it's a very design"
the lyrics are on the net, chaps. Can't remember the product.maybe Archie does ?
Not sure if this is terrible or brilliant
Another aussie one
and I knew the guy who sang it many moons ago.
It's...
... terrible. As is this:
Beckam's Californian now?
