You know you care too much about music when...

I had a dream last night, where Pat Sansone, Glenn Kotche and Nels Cline had all quit Wilco. Their sole replacement was an English drummer called Michael Ellcox. They released an album called Ellcox (The Album).
All completely made up by my own fevered imagination, assisted by jet lag, espresso and sleeping pills, not necessarily in that order. Definitely an indication of taking this whole business of music a bit too seriously. Though I must say, it is good that there is still a band around like Wilco where you actually care about who the current lineup is.
Does anyone else have any other examples of this kind of thing? Over to you...

Clearly I am not taking the right stuff
Fantastic that you :-
a - had such a dream
b - admit to it in a public forum
"props" to you, as the kids say....
No, I've never had a dream about
three members of Wilco leaving, an english drummer joining and the band then releasing an album with his name as the title.
I have dreamt about rummaging
in a record shop, and finding a pile of records that i've been after, and feeling rather pleased with myself
I just love that
this blog has a Mavis Diles and a dials_mavis as contribitors. It's why this site is the stuff of dreams
frequently
Very often my dreams involve famous people in bizarre situations. One of the most vivid involved Kelly Jones from Stereophonics trying to flog copies of his autobiography at a music festival, but no one wanted to buy them. Another time, I had a dream which involved a festival organised by the Word magazine / massive, and for some reason there was a war film with Paul McGann being filmed on site, and I was booked to do a gig in the comedy tent and was trying to wangle out of it.
And I don't even eat a lot of cheese...
