as a committed Jewish Atheist I have a deep seated love for pop songs which dip their toe in Christian theology.
My current fave rave is from this wonderful group of 12 year olds "Villagers".
I cant stop listening to this so thought I would share

Listening to these women sing live is an amazing experience,
whether or not you believe in any deities:
We caught them in concert in Clifton Cathedral in Bristol, years ago, and I was completely flabberghasted by the quality of their performance.

I absolutely adore the Louis Armstrong version of "Go Down Moses". Now I know its a old slave tune, but being heavily based on Scripture, I think its admissable in this case.
And the trumpet solo is fantastic.
