Is bargepole alone
in finding threads like this, which merely offer a link with no comment or opinion, extremely irritating.
grumpy post removed
(Bargepole, is it just you and me comparing Spotiphone?)
No you're not alone.
It's hardly much effort to add a one sentence description of the link so readers can decide whether or not to click on it.
Not as
irritating as you referring to yourself as bargepole.
Jimmy
or indeed
as chaosandmorphine for that matter!
Am I alone in finding peoples nit picking on this site lately
extremely irritating? Sorry old bean, I just find the fact that this app has been approved by Apple slightly surprising hence the simple WOW! But don't worry, next time I'll make sure to have a fully reasoned opinion ready to post. Its been a busy day so my critical faculties are not up to snuff this evening. I could be more cutting but I'll let it slide old fella, if thats ok with you?
I can understand the 'wow'
But it is considered good practice to provide a good, descriptive piece of text alongside your link. It helps people decide whether it's something they wish to explore further (plenty of people have no interest in Spotify or the iPhone), and it prevents what happened in this case, where the following post covered exactly the same topic.
Apologies for singling you out in this instance, but it is a point worth making. I'll add something along these lines to the FAQ.
Blimey
Consider yourself told!
i do!
But who knew the internet had so many 'rules'!
Only the good bits
Have rules.

This isn't the Internet. It's the WWW. There's a difference :-)
Hmmm!
This site no longer seems the fun place to visit it used to be and as a subscriber that is regrettable. As I seem to come across more and more clever c**ts in my real life these days I certainly don't need to encounter even more online (please excuse the language Fraser as I certainly don't include you in this assessment). I thinks its time I took my leave. Ciao!
