Worst film you've ever seen

I heard someone talking about a film they'd seen recently that they hated and it reminded me of my unfortunate visit to a preview screening of Guest House Paradiso.

Lured by the thought of interviewing Simon Pegg (this was way before he became v famous), I went along expecting something silly, but good.

Boy was I mistaken! It took all the worst elements of Bottom and combined them with a sub-Fawlty Towers premise that made Hale & Pace look like master comedians.

The fact that not only Pegg, but also the likes of Vincent Cassell and (shock, horror) Bill Nighy were involved does nothing for its quality.

I present a short extract here and ask the obvious question?

What's the worst film you've ever seen (at the cinema)?

Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas

I can safely say after buying into it from the reviews this was the only time I've ever come out of the cinema (after paying with my hard earned cash) and said "utter boll**cks".

Robram: it's a good question but it's been covered at length pretty recently. It's always worth running your eyes down the list of 'Hot Topics' on the right hand side of the page before posting anything - or even using the search engine - just to make sure before posting that you're not re-treading familiar ground.

Eyes Wide Shut

is the only film I've ever walked out of. God, it was liberating though - the feeling of escape to be stood outside as the dreadful dirge rumbled on without us was almost worth the entrance fee.
