Back when Robbie Coltrane was starring as Fitz some tabloid phoned him up asking for his take on a child abduction or similar shock horror headline. He had the sense to say he didn't have a clue because he was an actor.

why was he there? His last few words imply he was at a press conference to do with the rescue package. Why I cannot imagine, but if he was the questions are more understandable.

trying to get nuclear test ban treaty ratified. But as they had Gordon Gekko in the room the press pack obviously thought they had someone to save the day. Dear Lord!
