Word Download Store: Your Help Needed

Fraser Lewry's picture

Image

If the Word Download Store were a real-life record shop, we think it would look much like the one above, packed with hipsters reading the magazine and grooving to the latest sounds.

This week, these new sounds include recommendations from our infamous production editor "Seventies" Mike Johnson and reader kb, plus new stock from the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Lily Allen, Aidan Moffat, Lady Gaga, Mary Coughlan, Jay Jay Pistolet, The Brighton Port Authority and Ane Brun.

However... I'm running low on reader reviews, and I'd be extremely grateful for any kind-hearted folks able to scribble down 80-100 words on an album of their choice, and e-mail it to me. Thank you.

When I get back from a weekend in...

... (place name deleted to avoid the off chance that my girlfriend is reading this, whilst browsing on her laptop - thus spoiling the surprise), I'd be more than happy to help out, Fraser.

Call me crap...

... but I go through the list on that site and can't quite find anything quite surprising enough which I can write about with any real degree of personal knowledge on my part which I think will be of interest to the massive. Who are of course none more erudite.

I'm all scared and intimidated! Maybe I should just stick to cute pictures of kittens...
