That's How You Win!

Unless you're sure of the answer. Least said the better, otherwise.

Makes for boring tv though, I agree.

You can't shut up Dan

on the radio. He was either heavily edited, knackered or hadn't a clue where he was.

maybe he's realised that

sadly QI has turned into 3-2-1 with Alan Davis as Dusty Bin and Stephen Fry as Ted Rodgers and with the same unanswerable designed to catch you out questions.

Did anyone else

try licking their elbows watching that?

The fabulous Baker boy

Danny's unmatchable when he's on his own turf, but I've never felt he looked entirely comfortable on QI, or any other similar show for that matter. QI has much less of the aggression and naked ambition of comedy panel shows like the horrible Mock The Week, but I still don't think that kind of forum suits his style.
He's at his best when shoved into a radio studio and just allowed to talk about whatever he feels like...

I thought much the same.

Odd one. Was he trying to make a point? Had he been giving it the full Baker assault but it got edited out?

again?

I seem to recall Dan talking on the radio about having his best bits edited out of an episode of HIGNFY a few years ago. I think the gist of his comments were along the lines of 'no-one is allowed to be funnier than Paul Merton on that programme'. When a show becomes a vehicle for certain 'star' names, perhaps that sort of thing is inevitable.
