With all these vampire shows and movies, isn't it time for a Damned revival ?

They all look more or less like Dave Vanian anyway.

The Damned are still rolling along

(Dave Vanian & Captain Sensible are the remaining two).

A former colleague went to see them about 4 years ago and was delighted that the tour merchandise included mousemats!

I'm a lifelong Damned fan,

who first caught them live in 81 and countless times since. I’ve seen them a couple of times in the last few years (two weeks ago, supporting Motorhead in fact), and can confirm they’re as good, if not better, now than ever.

Don’t start me on how undervalued The Damned are I could and do go on about it for hours..

If you haven’t got them yet, you must grab the last two album Grave Disorder and So, Who’s Paranoid – trust me you’ll love them

First timer

I saw them for the first time at Hammersmith recently. They were terrific.

I first saw them

20 years ago and they were on their farewell tour then!
Probably one of the best live bands to come out of this country.

Damned jolly good!

I saw them supporting Motörhead at Newcastle City Hall the other week. It was the first time since the mid eighties when they seemed to be always playing at a venue near me. And guess what? They were flipping brilliant. The Captain has not changed one jot. A very underappreciated pop tunesmith. Vanian has a Gene Vincent rocker thing meets Del Boy going on and is in fine voice. they were easily the equal of Motörhead and not suprisingly left the rather lacklustre Girlschool sounding like a sixth form band rehearsal.
