Who's Your Favourite Who & Your Christmas Companion Choice.

Fascinating piece in this months Word with Dr Who director James Strong. Even if you're not a Who fan, you have to appreciate what Dr Who has done for family TV viewing at Christmas and family TV viewing in general.
David Tennant has certainly made the Doctor his own, perhaps he is the best Time Lord since Tom Baker, and will no doubt be a great loss to the show, if he goes.
Who is your favourite Dr Who and who would you have chosen to aid the Doctor this Christmas, if Kylie Minogue hadn't been cast?

My favorite Doctor: Tom Baker
Christmas Episode: "Camden Crisis"
Christmas Companion: Amy Winehouse, in which the troubled singer begs the Doctor to take her to her favourite local in Camden. The Doctor enjoys a lock in and duets with Amy on "As Time Goes By". The trouble begins when some drunken Cybermen arrive for a late night drink and play constant Glary Glitter (their new Cyber leader) on the jukebox. ......

"You shot me in the balls...."

I've tried to discuss this rationally with Mrs Skirky, and all we've come up so far with is that episode of Spaced where they go down to Camden and get mashed, bump into Darth Maul and fight off the hordes of, well, hordes. Not a bad episode, but it's been done.

I'm kinda new to Who

I remember watching a few repeats when I was a kid, but it's not really been on TV that much as I've grown up (I'm 24) so it's a toughie. I think I mostly saw Pertwee but I've been so grabbed by the new ones it'd probably be Tennant or Ecclestone.

The last two Christmas Specials were a bit poor though, The Christmas Invasion and The Runaway Bride are definately the low points of the recent shows. The Tardis in a car-chase??? Come on.

Replacement Companion - how about another Doctor?
There's Dr. Dre, Dr. Fox, Dr. Alban...
