As that guy says in the ten rules of rock: the purest form of expression in rock is a three piece band. One guitar player, the business.

As soon as you have two guitar players, you'd better be good enough to justify it cos you lose some of that minimalist cool.

Three guitar players is pushing it. Starting to get a bit ridiculous.

But... NINE?! I had to stop that clip after a few seconds, it's just too comical.

not so much in what he played, but in Jimmy Page's reluctance to take a solo. You can almost hear him thinking "What's the bloody point? Beck's standing five feet away from me."

Loads of ability, no taste whatsoever. Like one of those failed footballers who becomes an adidas-sponsored ball-juggler.
