I'm tempted to reply 'whatever happened to The Thrills'
but that would be too easy wouldn't it?
Or...
Deasy?
I used to work for a large supermarket chain
which rhymes with "al fresco".
Around the time of The Thrills' second album, I was sitting at my till when a customer came to purchase said record. I took the plastic security case off and, as duty-bound to do, opened the album up to check the CD was fully intact. Thinking quickly (or, at least, to my mind), I said to the customer:
"Sorry, you might want to take that back"
"Why's that?" they asked.
"Well... *sigh*... I'm afraid you seem to have bought a Thrills album", I replied.
They were not impressed.
Mean
but who could resist the opportunity? If I'd been queuing behind the Thrills fan it would have been hard not to crack up.
I Have Three Thrills Albums...
... and think they're pretty good.
Maybe it's just me.
So it was you that bought "Teenager" then?
No, it's not just you.
"Corey Haim" is a classic.
Sad story all round.
