What I don't know

badartdog's picture

I'm pretty sure Biffy Clyro is a group, but for a long time I thought it was a bloke.
What about Rilo Kiley? Group? Man? Woman? I have no idea.
Until taking a risk at the local library I'd assumed Death Cab for Cutie were a goth or emo band.
Anyone else care to own up to their ignorance?

Frank Chickens

I remember this 80s band were once contacted by the Labour Party during the Red Wedge years, with a letter starting "Dear Frank"

Biffy Clyro

as I'm sure you do now know is indeed a group. A group that makes a rather wonderful noise. The singer is actually called Simon, a fact which I'm sure a psycholgist somewhere would find very interesting.

Skunk Anansie

A friend of mine (honest!) for a long time thought they were a duo called Skunk and Nancy.

I know someone...

...who thought that a certain member of The E Street Band used to be in a group called Townes Van Zandt.

The Script

They just have to be a goth band, don't they?

I thought Basil Brush was a brush

...until about 1983. I had no idea he was meant to be a fox. It came as quite a shock
