What the feck is going on?

Retropath2's picture

It's a thursday, early afternoon in the UK. It isn't a holiday week, yet the posts are flying in like television advertised best ofs. Why is nobody at work or working??
When do most of the fellow Irregulars post? It seems that daytime 9-5 is the strongest contender.

Working 9 to 5, what a way to make a living

It does seem that way. I'm a student, I don't know what everyone else's excuse is. I think they have lives though, sometimes you can see the tumbleweed through this site of a weekend

By being half way round the world....

It's evening here in Singapore - the kids have gone to bed and I'm on a boring conference call

We ARE at work.

We've just learned to multi-task.

This is very useful

...for my job.

It counts as research

We use a web-based database

Sometimes we have performance issues. It can be our internet connection or it can be down to the company that runs the database system. The only way for me to monitor this is to constantly refer to another website like this. It really is essential.

I use the word blog

as a virtual tea break as office life nowadays doesn't seem to have real ones anymore.

Methinks Retro's faux outrage is a front.

Does he think Fraser is going to retrieve all the webserver logs, get our IPs and tell our bosses?
Or does he have a secret motive for appearing irked?
Is he supposed to be working but in fact is just lounging beside an infinity pool somewhere, polishing his D&G shades and sipping pina-coladas served by exotic handmaidens?
Or is he, in fact, an uber-criminal planning to subvert the productivity of British Industry, using reverse psychology to encourage more and more people to post to the Word Blog?

Served by exotic handmaidens?

I'm supping from their tummy buttons!

Leaving...

my current job in less than a week so I don't have a lot of work to do and keep poping in here as it's on of the few sites that isn't blocked - most forum/blogs are blocked.

Genrally I visit here on a lunchtime, I didn't join and start posting for ages!.

I tend not to visit on an evening as I'm usually out rehersing etc..
