I mean if you're going to stop doing it, don't tell everyone you're going to stop doing it. You just look like a cock

Hmmm...
http://www.zippyvideos.com/4328299164603536/ringo_simpsons/
...I wonder if this appearance on The Simpsons contributed to his present predicament?
I think it Ringo's
Annual "Lets just see how much of a Dickhead I can be" routine.
Wouldn't give it any serious thought. I mean in fairness and in these times of cutbacks he's probably made the signing team redundant and is unwilling to do the job himself.
You didn't actually think he did it himself did you?
My wife
has met Mr Starr (she tinted his beard). She cannot find words to describe his arrogance and rudeness and so we'll go with Mr Crow's without any dissent.
Brilliant!
He's always been a bit of a dickhead though, hasn't he?
Had to laugh at the idea of somebody being bothered enough to decapitate a "foliage sculpture" of him. Speaking as a Liverpudlian, I had no problem with his comments on Jonathan Ross's show last year; I think Ross's line of questioning was something like "do you miss Liverpool... would you consider going back", and Ringo was just pretty much saying "not really, no". And in fairness, *why would he?*
I was more offended by the aggressively shite single 'Liverpool 8' that he was hawking around. Maybe that's what the agents of horticultural rewenge were upset about...
In fairness, he is very busy these days.
Dear Ringo
I give you a warning with peace and love that I will no longer listen to your records or buy any as I am far too busy. I think I will cope somehow.
Sven, Sven
you got there before me...and your using his own words was very funny..omigish,I feel like the heel now!
Its ok, i suppose
as i am too busy to listen to any of his new recordings!
Busy doing what exactly?
Counting his cash?
Yes, dreadful...
...he's really been getting delusions of grandeur lately. I remember reading a recent review where he said how he regrets he'd 'be remembered for The Beatles- and nothing else' (words fail me on that one!) and then in another made some back-handed comment on Paul McCartney's new album.
Well ...
if everything that you had done since the age of 30 was ignored or discounted you'd probably get a little bit pissed off from time to time too, although admittedly the millionaire lifestyle would probably compensate.
Isn't the most interesting thing about Ringo post-Beatles that he pretty much outsold the other three for the first five years, and certainly left Lennon in the dust in terms of chart placings both in the US and UK? Or have I got that wrong?
Well....
As far as my kids are concerned, he's only remembered for being the voice behind "Thomas the Tank Engine". They've never heard of the Beatles (yet)......
You may well be right...
...he was the only one that ever had all three of the others on his albums too, I think.
Have you watched it
It's like a musical Victor Meldrew at work. Quite funny really.
Looks like he came in from a nice long therapeutic walk in the LA sunshine to find the mail man had dropped another sack of cards, teddy bears and slightly gone off sweet cakes on his doormat.
"No More" he cried. "Barbara get this shit out of my hallway and give it to Liam Gallagher, I'm going for a swim".
Help at hand:
