Were Blue Rondo a one hit wonder?

Whilst 'Me and Mr Sanchez' correctly ridiculed in this month's Worst Of One Hit Wonders for the blag bossa pseudo-salsa abomination it was (one step up - or down? - from modern romance?)BRALT (as we called em in Runcorn) had another far better hit with the brilliant 'klactoveesedstein' - altogether now 'mm-mm-aah, mm-mm-mm-mm-aah" plus mark riley and chris sullivan were two of the best dancers you will ever see.

Was this released before or
Was this released before or after Tour De France by Kraftwerk ;-)
Christos Tolera
taught me how to draw using perspective and vanishing points. He was studying art at the local college, but the art course was in my schools sixth form.
Incidentally the same school that the Kemp brothers went to a few years earlier, and a bit of a hotbed for the New Romantic/Beat Route scene.
I thought including Blue Rondo was a bit unfair...
... I mean, does one week at number 40 really constitute a "hit?" And I doubt if anyone who didn't devour The Face each month ever heard of them anyway, so it's hardly as if they blighted the public consciousness for a generation like (say) Joe Dolce or many more deserving includees.
"Klacto" was admittedly a far better track though, shame none of their stuff is on CD (sorry, I meant available to download - almost showed my age there...)
Chewing The Fat
For some reason I've always had a soft spot for their first album - this track in particular. I ripped the LP to my Zen last year and still enjoyed it.
I'd always wondered how their second album sounded and downloaded it from a blog site last week - I should quit whilst I was ahead!
