We're going to Cornbury. Are you?

We'll be at the Cornbury Festival as usual this year. It takes place in beautiful surroundings in the Oxfordshire countryside on July 5th and 6th and this year features Paul Simon, Crowded House, KT Tunstall, Toots and the Maytals and 10 cc. We're delighted to say that that on the Saturday the Word stage is headlined by Nick Lowe who is supported by Carbon Silicon, Half Man Half Biscuit, the Beat and, er, the Love Trousers.
You can find full booking details here.

so long as they Do Some Old

I shall be there, large as life and very possibly twice as ugly. Possibly bedecked in a fetching Word t-shirt.

BTW No apologies to anyone making the schoolboy error of standing behind me.

I'll be there and in line for the Word sponsored Ukulele session

Has Mark Ellen agreed to taking the first ball at an impromptu Ukulele session as yet?

I

want to go! I want to go!

Just got to persuade the non-festival loving Miss Oeuf to take the trip.

Crowded House! Toots! 10CC! My cup etc...

Shame about Beverly Knight and The Bangles...

...but it might still be worth it if 'Half Man Half Biscuit' and Paul Simon can still 'cut it'. I've no idea how to get to this place, and I don't drive. Is it possible to get there by public transport (I'd be coming from Reading), plus a 'not too long' taxi ride? Any information gratefully received.
