"We make a good living from corporate events...."

I know, I know there is an eighties or nineties band who regularly do American corporate events and play their biggest hit, once at the start of the evening and once at the end and spend a lot of time counting their cash in between - I've read an interview with the bass player to that effect, but I'm buggered if I can remember who it is. It's of the Jesus Jones, EMF, Soup Dragons ilk, but I'm pretty sure it's not any of them. Who, who, who, is it? It's driving me mental. On the other hand, what's the best corporate song to play? 'Simply The Best' won't do, I'm afraid...

The Last 4 events

I went to of this type they all played "Search for the Hero" by M People And at two of these we were given Lyric sheets.
I always think this song will segue into "The Best a man can get" and some pilot will shout "Gillete Mach 4" or whatever.
These events were more inspirational and motivation seminars rather than end of school parties.
The only thing the M People song motivates me to do is sneak out.

Jesus Jones

Have done very nicely out of the corporate gigs, I believe. Good luck to them, I say...
