We have 4 or 5 signature dishes, spaghetti bolognese, burnt cheese on toast and sandwich with crisps on the side.
The other day, I branched out and tried to make green pea hummus, followed the instructions to the T and was left with a gooey, barely edible mess. My pregnant wife came home and when presented with said mess looked at both of us with barely concealed disgust.
