One of my co-workers asked me yesterday ... whatever happened to the Friday Afternoon Disco?
Did it get overtaken by Spotify, or was it stopped 'for legal reasons'?

a it ran it course but also all that youtube slowed the page quite drastically so maybe Fraser wasn't keen?

It got overtaken by Spotify, as you suspect. There was never a decision to abandon the disco as such.
It's a shame we don't hold it any more
It was probably a little more clunky than Spotify, but more fun in my book.
Maybe we can ask Sir for one before the end of term?
