Yup...

Chris Whitley, Evan Dando, Whiskeytown and The Sleepy Jackson.

I'm sold.

I recently admitted on this here site that I'm a relative newcomer to Bruce having takena punt on, and been pleasantly surprised by, Magic.

Anyone want to suggest the next couple in my Springsteen Primer?

Born To Run

If you go for Born To Run, it's worth considering the 30th anniversary box set which contains a DVD of one of the 1975 Hammersmith Odeon shows. Here's 4th Of July Asbury Park (Sandy) from that DVD which originally appeared on The Wild The Innocent & The E Street Shuffle.
