How did Jim Gordon, best known as drummer with Traffic and Derek & The Dominoes, murder his mother in 1983 for which he was imprisoned for 16 years?
I thought it may have been
a Sid and Nancy question.
Yes,
I did consider that particular rock stabbing but I decided as it was never established in law who actually stabbed NS then the question which begs that definitive answer could not be asked. I put it to you m'lud that Jim Gordon was as guilty as the day is long in the eyes of the law. Of course, if you stick in the word 'allegedly' then that's a different matter entirely. The defence rests. Take him down.
My Learned Friend
indeed, does not know his arse from his elbow. Or his face for that matter. Though the latter is not surprising. The fact of the matter is that The Tub Thumper took an axe to his Mater, and therefore did not "stab" her as my aged American friend alledges... he did indeed "chop" her,a charge which which my client freely admits.
Take him back up again.
Ah, poor Geacher..
so like poor James Beck Gordon in that he hears those voices in his head still. Indeed, I had wished to save my dear Wordy chums from the true horror but, for the sake of all that is good and true, here is the sad truth.
On June 03 1983 when those voices got too much and believing that his dear mother was, indeed, a demon, Jim Gordon did pound her head with hammer and, then, did finally take her life with 3 plunges of a butcher's knife into the ribs. There are those who do say, putting it simply - "he stabbed her".
Take him down again.
He was a hell of a drummer though and no bad at the piano.
Or it could be fictional
