Vampire Weekend

Was in Zavvi Picadilly Circus this weekend and the new cd by Vampire Weekend was playing. Very good it was too. Sounds a lot like Fountains of Wayne - anyone know any more about them?

...the album is very good!

the singer begins to sound like Sting.
name change
I always think their name would better the other way round, "The Weekend Vampires" is much better.
It's not bad....
First track is pants. They have a song called 'Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa' which is on the album and is very good indeed.
In short ...
Afro beat, Myspace band. Talking Heads play 'Graceland'. Better than Black Kids. Worth a punt.
