Unusual first words on albums

IanP's picture

‘Antiques’ was the first word sung on the album I listened to on the way to work this morning.

While not exactly an obscure word, it’s rare in popular music I’d argue.

So, first question – what was I listening to?

And secondly, any other unusual first words?

Wow ..

... I actually heard that song for the first time today (popped up on the ipod in shuffle mode ... think I bought the album on a whim and never played it ... I will now)

"38 f**king

years old" are the opening words of Kid Loco's A Grand Love Story on the track A Grand Love Theme. It's dialogue sampled from Apocalypse Now but its use is rather incongruous given the music of the track:

I present this not in a 'we've done this before' kind of way, but because the thread began, strangely, with the same song, same word.
Damn fine song, too, thanks for the clip.
