Umm, I don't mean to nag, but ...
Posted by David Cooper on 15 September 2009 - 1:12pm.
Things seem to have gone a bit quiet on the podcast front - as far as I can see the last one was on the 1st of September. I'm sure Fraser's been up to his eyes with the new website and the Old Grey Whistle Test Hitmakers are busy with their executive duties at the mag, but surely you could have spared us a half an hour or so.
I know it's free so the standard response is: "You get what you're given", but I see it as a key part, along with this site and the magazine, of the world of wonderfulness that is The Word. I started out as a podcast listener, then looked at the website and bought the mag occasionally, and am now a subscriber.
It's only because it's so good that I miss it so.

Blimey
We miss a single week, and you're suffering withdrawal already? We're still trying to put together a podcast for this week, but for the next two we're back into holiday mode in my absence, unless Mr H decides to do battle with the faders and the editing himself.
The horror! The horror!
Imagine that Mr H gets the levels way too low, and we all turn up our volume to compensate, and then Mr H twigs his mistake and waps the sliders back up, just as Mr E issues one of those cackles!
Bleeding eardrums or blown tweeters all round.
Do us a favour Fraser and pre-record some old guff overheard in the office before you swan off in search of exotic meats.
Cold turkey
I was starting to get the shakes and everything... Thanks for the explanation, I mainly wanted to say how good it is -just miss being cheered up on the way to work.
I want my money back
I even invested in an iPod, I've had to stick music on it
what's the world coming to, no staying power these media lackies
