I know we have had some heated debates re hanging however may I point to the fact that the execution date for Troy Davis has been set for September 21 . All I ask is that members of the massive read some of the facts for themselves and act upon them as they feel appropriate .

Surely even supporters
of the death penalty must feel queasy when they see a case like this. I recommend listening to the archive of the 'This American Life' podcast to get a sense of how broken the US legal system really is. Some of the stories on there beggar belief, and offer a sobering warning of what happens when you politicise justice.
