TOTP - NY Eve - just how shit can a show be?

Just caught the last 1/2 of this show, really shit. Fearne Rotten and some other fool trying to convince us what a great year it has been for music. How old are the audience, are these BBC staffers bused in? It is not an 'incredible year', probably one of the worst ever.

Didn't see that, someone did say 'happy new year' on it so could have just been a tweaked re-show. Either way, still shit though.

stuck her on and let her sing live to stop us wingeing about the good old days and how they should bring TOTP back. After the racket that was presented as fab and groovy 2009 sounds I suddenly found myself turning into my old man in the late '60's when I first started to be fascinated by pop music.
