Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be Jimmy Miller...

I'm not sure if this has been posted before; i don't recall it,did a quick search and found nowt.

If it's old, apologies, but if it's not, you might enjoy it

Gimme Shelter by the Stones. Split down into separate tracks so you can, y'know, reduce the prominence of the guitars and so on.

all you need to know is here...

That is

pretty damn cool.

Amazing.

I always thought Keef's guitar was a bit dodgy on this so I shall replace them tonight using Reg from The Red Lion Bluesbusters. ( He's put new strings on his Tokai Les Paul in preparation and Maureen has agreed to re-dub the Clayton vocals ). I, of course, shall be on shaker.

I too shall

take it out tonight and break it badly.

Tell me you're being satirical

I always thought Keef's guitar was a bit dodgy on this

Isolate the guitar tracks

and there are parts that could be percieved as "mistakes".

collibosher | 5 September 2008 - 10:11am

Drat.

Fifty quid I paid for that 'How To Be Hilariously Satirical' course at my local Tech. I'm going to ask for my money back.
( Mind you, Reg can make that Tokai Les Paul talk ).

That's extraordinary

Sounds like Mick Jagger's singing is almost as strong as Merry Clayton's. Don't think it would be today.

On yes!

Thanks very much Ivan - you've just filled my weekend

Love this - listen to those drums!
