Is it just me who thinks that the image of Bryan Ferry on this month's cover is actually Timothy Spall?

I agree.
I can see that the front cover being adorned by an illustration rather than the usual photo helps to differentiate (The) Word from yer Qs, Uncuts et al, but...
.. and who thinks last
.. and who thinks last month's cover bore the slightest resemblance to Richard Thompson?
Mind you it might have been a cunning marketing plan to disguise the identity of the star, given the past record of putting RT on the cover of a magazine.
Zigzag May 1977 (in front of me as I type) made the mistake of putting a photo of RT on the cover & as Patrick Humphries said in his biography of RT, "that May 1977 issue had Thompson staring moodily from its cover and was the lowest-selling issue ever".
