These two lovely specimens wondering down, I assume, Carnaby Street are clearly in the only (cheap) stock footage left that is *the* shorthand for the sixties. I must have seen this footage now over a hundred times in all manner of music, history, news docs. Am i dreaming ? I'm sure it turns up everywhere. I really do wonder what has happened to this pair. Presumably they are now in their sixties. And why does it always appear. Is it labelled. "Hippy sixties, long hair" or something in the catalogue. Surely there must be something else that could be used :) Any other similar type images perhaps ?
