'There is a lesson here

Paul Bernays's picture

about single mindedness and the strength of the human spirit. Probably.'

So says our own Rob Fitzpatrick in a rather wonderfully written up encounter with Slayer in today's Guardian. A delightful read...and a warning.

The Hepworth theory on Heavy Metal

David's theory about Heavy Metal bands stands up with Slayer. I've worked with them 3 times over the years and they've been great every time. Happy to chat to fans and seem to sense how important the few seconds with their heroes is to them.
A Slayer gig is well worth catching. Check out The atmosphere. hell of a lot of testosterone but not a hint of trouble. And man is it Loud. All the security staff were offered earplugs and the ones who didn't take them at first, sure took em after the first song.
Paul, you are spot on sir. An excellent piece by Rob (Doffs Baseball cap).

Blinking 'eck

That Rob gets all the best jobs. He does them all well too. Surprised he has the time now that he has become a new father.

Congrats from The Massive - a rightly proud dad.
