I disagree that Bent should be in the 23 - yes he can score goals, but offers nothing else. We have plenty of potential goalscorers in the squad, especially in midfield.

Heskey is a bit of an enigma, but he seems to bring out the best in Rooney.

As for Theo, I don't think that "he's a nice chap" is any sort of reason to consider him - but its hard to forget that hatrick.

Who are we supporting should England fall short? Me, it's the Dutch. The Italians cheat all the time and are bad sportsmen and my Mum supports them, the Germans, well, I quite admire them but couldn't really support them unless it was Germany v France as I will always support whoever is playing France, Brazil....hmmm, maybe third choice.
