Mr Radio created a Spotify playlist in direct contract to XFM's top 1000 songs list/book. Here's their thread:

I'm already...
...intrigued, outraged & delighted and I haven't even listened to any of it yet, just scanned the list. What stood out? Ripples by Genesis (really?), Sad Cafe (really, really?), A Flock of Seagulls (no problem with that). I think that's the weekend sorted.

I Think It's Impossible To Please Everyone
There are tracks I would have liked to include and others I don't care for, I guess it's just a snapshot of our tastes, but there is rap,reggae,jazz,soul,disco,country,pop,rock,punk I think it's a pretty wide spectrum but it was never going to be perfect and it's all subjective, compared to the XFM list is like comparing a Van Gogh to a childs drawing
