The Word 91 - Editor's Letter
Posted by Mark Ellen on 9 August 2010 - 1:17pm.
Dearly Deprived,
Apologies to the various subscribers who've emailed to point out that their new issue's arrived with last month's editor's letter. Apologies too from the mailing room. The finely-chiselled document they should have included with Word 91 is here...

For non-subscribers, the new issue will be available from the finest of newsagents on Thursday.

No excuse.
Expect a letter from my legal department forthwith. Just got home from the grind, ripped open Word subs edition and got stuck in. Glanced at Ed's letter and thought, 'silly buggers have included last month's by mistake'. Hence without suitable warning am now suffering from acute Aggerophobia. It's ghastly. Will require hefty compensation. You have been warned.
Oo-er
Is it bad that I hadn't noticed?
So
it tranpsires we all get a copy of the same letter. What a let down.
Yours, disillusioned.
You should be ashamed!
I can only say, I'm traumatised by the experience and my enjoyment of the magazine has been ruined.
(err, which bit is the editor's letter?)
it's that bit of paper
that's stuck inside the shrink wrap in your bin.
(I'm the sort of person who'd have chucked away a Wonka Golden ticket in the rush to get to the chocolate)
Mr Ellen ...
doesn't this prove you should spend more time editing and less time going out, you slacker
I read it
And thought "This sounds like a good issue. I'm looking forward to reading it." Should I have paid more attention to the magazine last month?
