The Reckoning

Anyone else watch that "thriller" that was on over two nights on ITV? That's two hours of my life gone.
If you did what the hell happened at the end??? The mother and boyfriend got banged up (for what we don't know), the daughter who was dying of cancer suddenly grew long blonde tresses (how? did they spend the money?) and nobody explained what happened to the solicitor behind the killings.
Seems someone editing it looked at the clock realised there was only ten minutes left in the running time and took a great pair of shears to the film!
I hate these programmes that leave you mystified.

Yes, ludicrous nonsense
Started off quite well and descended into farce. Shame, cos Max Beesley I think is quite a good actor, but Ashely Jensen is so one note. She's truly dreadful.
Verdict: cobblers
It was abysmal.
Not even worth the effort of a pointed critique. Daft "plot" and crappy dialogue, riddled with inconsistencies and implausabilities. It's hard to tell if the acting was just plain bad or simply as good as it could be under the weight of such a rubbish script.
The bloke stacking shelves in my local Sainsburys
told me it was dead good...mmmm
