What It Sounds Like:
The baritone vocals of Tindersticks fronting Belle & Sebastian (in their more Dexys inspired mode). I can also hear traces of mid-period Walkabouts. A fan of Lambchop tells me it reminds him of them. Features at least one glockenspiel solo.
What Does It All "Mean"?:
I've seen this London/Cambridge band play pub gigs a few times - I've mixed a few - and they put on a great show with upwards of 9 members on stage. A proper album, 35 mins with no filler.
Goes well with...:
A darkened room and a glass of something cold, taken in one 35 minute sitting.

I'm a huge fan of both Belle and Sebastian and Tindersticks, so I thought I'd give this a try. I'm listening to it now on Spotify and it really is rather good. I'd say it sounds more like Lambchop than anything though.
