The Minister's Musical Cat

David Wright's picture

One of my favourite party games over Christmas dinner used to be The Minister’s Cat. I was thinking of doing a variation of the game this year with a music only related theme, also good entertainment in the pub.
I’ll start off with the letter A, further suggestions most welcome for each letter of the alphabet:

“The minister’s cat is an Anvil Fan,but to it’s shame, was only really aware of the band after the film was made about them a few years ago”

Could you explain the rules?

I'm guessing we have to construct a sentence beginning with the words 'the Minister's Cat is..' and then work through the alphabet listing bands etc, but not sure about the bits in between.

The minister’s cat is a fan of M People.

He remembers being mashed off his feline tits at the Ministry of Sound the night that Elegant Slumming won the Mercury music awards. Paul Oakenfold played a three-and-a-half-hour long remix of One Night In Heaven.

The minister’s cat wishes that it was 1994 again.
